Coldplay was phenomenal tonight. They really blew me away. It's the second best show I've seen this year. It's hard to compete with Oasis, but Coldplay came close. They sounded great, the visuals were stunning and the energy was high. They played a lot of songs from X&Y which I enjoyed. It was great from the first notes of "Square One" to the last line of "Fix You". During a brief acoustic set, the band followed "Till Kingdom Come" (which was written for Johnny Cash) with "Ring Of Fire". There are only two times where I can remember being euphoric at a show. One was during Oasis' set at Madison Square Garden and the next tonight when Coldplay started "Fix You". It's the best song they've ever written and it's just an amazing song. I love that they closed the show with it. Anyway, that's it really. Oh yeah, Rilo Kiley opened the show. It didn't have the same vibe in such a big venue, but it was still cool.

So yeah, go buy X&Y if you don't already have it and go see Coldplay sometime. You won't regret it.
